Petrochemical Services: Tank Terminal & Blending
We partner with our customers to supply contract manufacturing which meets their internal specifications and safe-guards intellectual property. From handling procedures to blending instructions, analytical test results and shipping instructions, we validate that each manufactured blend prepared for shipment meets customer requirements. In essence we become an extension of your own operations.
Third Coast’s bulk tanks, railcars in our yard, bulk trucks and palletized products, all serve as component sources for blending operations. While all bulk tanks on-site have blending capability, we conduct most blend operations in specially designed mixing vessels with capacities ranging from 1,000 to 30,000 gallons. We also use 3 pre-blend vessels designed for solids handling of slurry/ solubilization operations in support of contract manufacturing. Blend vessels are configured according to customer request and are mounted on load cells for accurate weight measurement.

Transfer operations use dedicated lines and dedicated filters to eliminate potential cross-contamination and approximately 10,000 square feet are covered operations. RO/ DI water, nitrogen gas, dry plant air and low/high pressure steam heating are all available to conduct a variety of blending operations. Mixing vessel materials-of-construction include carbon steel, stainless steel and food grade lined tanks for the manufacture of industrial and FDA/USP/Kosher approved products. Backup generators supply emergency power sufficient to run the entire plant during an electrical blackout thus guaranteeing continuous operations.
Our customer’s product standards are incorporated in contract manufacturing as Third Coast’s internal standards. Third Coast teams from each discipline area including order placement, scheduling operations, contract blending, laboratory analysis/QA, blend packaging and shipping all work seamlessly to deliver products on or ahead of schedule. Your assurance that your finished product meets all your requirements is documented with paperwork tracking each blending operation, verified by a minimum of two employees independently within each discipline area and carried throughout the manufacturing process from start to finish. This is just a part of our internal quality assurance documentation and process.
